The Intel Gen 13 processor variant for desktops is designed specifically for PC users who want to enjoy fast performance for productivity, gaming and productivity while providing power savings.
In more detail, the Core i9-13900K processor has 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores with a total of 32 threads with P-Core speeds up to 5.8 GHz and supports L2 Cache with a capacity of 32MB, L3 Cache with a capacity of 36MB, has Intel Adaptive technology Boost and Thermal Velocity Boost.
In addition to desktops, Intel Gen 13 is also targeting laptops for gamers and professional content creators through the Intel Gen 13 H and HX series. The Intel Gen 13 H and HX series processor variants are built from a hybrid architecture with two chips interconnected through a discrete Hub Controller Platform to optimize the performance of various heavy tasks.
The HX series has the highest variant of Intel Core processor through the Core i9-13980HX which has 8 P cores and 16 E cores and 32 threads. Meanwhile the H series features the highest Intel Core processor variant through the Core i9-13900HK which has 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores and 20 threads.
Meanwhile, the HX series has a maximum performance core speed of up to 5.6 GHz and the H series reaches 5.4 GHz. All devices with Intel Gen 13 support also receive Intel Evo platform certification, which provides several benefits.
