Gadgetren – Acer has officially launched the new Swift X series laptop in Indonesia, namely the Swift X 14 (SFX14-71G) powered by the 13th Gen Intel Core processor.
This laptop targets content creators to run high-end software for creating 3D projects, videos, live streaming and gaming.
The Swift X 14 is sold in Indonesia at a price of IDR 22,999,000 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB NVMe SSD variant and IDR 24,999,000 for the 32GB RAM + 1TB NVMe SSD variant.
In addition to Windows 11 Home and Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021, buyers of this laptop will also get 3 years warranty repair, 2 years parts and 1 year Accidental Damage Protection, which provides priority service and accidental use protection .
Acer Swift X 14 is equipped with Intel Core i7-13700H processor, which is supported by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 VRAM 6GB GPU, which has strong performance capable of smoothly handling graphic design applications, video processors and 3D modeling.
This laptop already uses a 14-inch display with OLED technology, 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels), 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, which is able to display content bright and sharp so that it spoils my eyes.
Thanks to the 120 Hz refresh rate, transitions and animations on the screen are smooth. I myself feel that the screen can display videos with rich colors and smooth animations when watching on the YouTube website.
This laptop has received EyeSafe certification from TUV Rheinland so that the content displayed on the screen can be viewed comfortably on the eyes for a long time.
Interestingly, the NVIDIA Canvas Beta application is directly installed on this laptop, which allows users to instantly produce realistic images.
I tested the NVIDIA Canvas Beta which made two mountains decorated with sea water by simply drawing simple shapes on the canvas. Later artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence (AI) from NVIDIA will instantly share realistic images.
There are many shape materials provided by NVIDIA Canvas Beta, ranging from mountains, clouds, seas, rivers, flowers, grass, rain and many more that can be created as needed.
Thanks to the hardware capabilities built into Swift X 14, the process for producing images in NVIDIA Canvas Beta can be performed quickly. There are also hotkeys on the keyboard with a combination of Fn and F which can be pressed together to change the performance of the laptop from Silence, Normal, Performance and Turbo modes.
In this Silence mode, of course the laptop will streamline to save battery power. Meanwhile, in Turbo mode, the laptop’s performance will be maximized so that it can handle a variety of heavy activities smoothly.
Armed with a 76 Wh battery, this laptop is claimed by Acer to last 13 hours in normal use. Even in the sales box, a 100W charger adapter using USB Type-C port is available so that the battery can be charged quickly.
Above the screen is an HD (1080p) camera supported by Acer PurifiedView technology so that it can display clear images during video calls or meetings. There is an Automatic Framing function, the camera can intelligently frame the user’s face in the right position.
There is also the Eye Contact feature which can make it appear as if the user is always looking at the camera. This laptop is also supported by Acer Purified Voice with AI Noise Reduction to reduce ambient noise so that it can conduct and listen to conversations with a clearer voice.
For a laptop that packs a punch, the Acer Swift X 14 weighs up to 1.55kg and is 17.9mm thick, so it feels flexible when taken anywhere.
The body of this laptop uses aluminum material so it feels sturdy when you hold it. Meanwhile, the Steel Gray color makes this laptop attractive to the naked eye.
Right on the power button is a fingerprint sensor with Windows Hello support that can make it easy to quickly unlock the screen on this laptop.
The Acer Swift X 14’s touchpad uses eco-friendly OceanGlass material, which is comfortable to the touch and precise for navigating through on-screen menus and apps.
On the right side of this laptop is a Kensington lock, USB 3.2 Gen 1 port and microSD slot. Turning to the left side, there’s an HDMI 2.1 port, USB 3.2 Gen 2, a 3.5mm audio jack and 2 USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports.
