AMD Ryzen 7000 series with artificial intelligence officially launched

Gadgetren – AMD recently held a launch event for its newest processor aimed at laptops through its Ryzen 7000 series processors in Indonesia.

AMD’s latest processor lineup is known to have arrived first via several collaborating laptop vendors such as ASUS ROG, Acer and Lenovo. AMD says its Ryzen 7000 series processors are aimed at all user segments, including hybrid to professional workers, casual gamers and professional gamers and content creators.

Through the Ryzen 7000 series processors, AMD delivers fast laptop performance for content creators and gamers, while providing endurance and battery performance.

One of the processor series, namely the 7045HX series, which was built using the Zen4 architecture, offers the highest variant that has 16 cores and 32 threads. The processor offers speeds of up to 5.4Ghz boost frequency with a total cache of 80MB and a TDP of up to 75.

AMD also introduced the Ryzen 7040 series which includes the 7040HS and 7040U. Both are intended for thin and light notebook devices that can be used for playing heavy games or for content creators.


The Ryzen 7040HS series has the highest variant Ryzen 9 7940HS which has a boost frequency of up to 5.2 GHz with a total cache of 24 MB and a TDP of up to 45 W. While the Ryzen 7040U series has the highest variant Ryzen 7 7840U which has a boost frequency speed of 5.1 GHz.

Specifically for the Ryzen 7040 series, AMD also provides the latest capabilities to optimize performance through AMD Ryzen AI, which is said to enhance the user’s laptop experience.

Which with support AMD Ryzen AIlaptops with Ryzen 7040 series processors feature special AI hardware designed to accelerate AI-based workloads and balance optimal performance with optimal power usage.


In addition to this, artificial intelligence is also said to provide long battery life, stable performance speed and low latency, so that the features built into laptops provide a better experience to users.

In Indonesia, Ryzen 7040 and Ryzen 7045 HX processors are reported to be available for ACER and HP notebook product lines in the third quarter of 2023, followed by other brands soon.
