Gadgetren – The first gaming handheld from ASUS, namely the ROG Ally, is finally officially sold in Indonesia, and buyers can start getting it offline through their nearest ROG Store and ASUS Exclusive Store across Indonesia.
Currently, only the ROG Ally with AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor can be purchased at IDR 11,299,000. Meanwhile, the Ryzen Z1 processor variant which is priced at IDR 10,099,000 will be available in the future.
Previously, ASUS ROG held a pre-order, which was said to sell out 500 units in less than 24 hours. Then, to ensure that all enthusiastic gamers in Indonesia can get their hands on the ROG Ally, ASUS ROG held a pre-sale event held right before the launch event in Jakarta.
ROG ally offers handheld gaming that carries the portability of gaming devices that are specifically designed to fulfill the dreams of light-bodied gamers and also have connectivity features with other devices.
In addition, there is RGB lighting integrated around the buttons and around the ROG eyes on the back of the body. This gaming device is based on the Windows 11 operating system, so it can not only play games, but also perform computer functions such as typing, watching entertainment, presentations and more.
ROG Ally can also run various gaming platforms that are compatible with Windows 11, including Xbox, Steam, Epic Games, EA Play, GoG Galaxy and Ubisoft Connect. In addition, you can connect to external displays, smart TVs and external ROG XG Mobile GPUs for even higher gaming performance.
The screen size is 7″ with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS panel and supports 100% sRGB, Adobe 75.35%, 120 Hz refresh rate, 7ms response time, brightness level up to 500 nits and FreeSync Premium.
In addition to this, the ROG Ally display is protected by a scratch-resistant layer of Gorilla Glass DXC and Gorilla Glass Victus. Like other ASUS ROG gaming devices, ROG Ally is also supported by custom-built software called Armory Crate Special Edition (SE).
Not only does the special edition Armory Crate appear as the control center for all systems in ROG Ally, but gamers can also instantly access all games while managing profiles for each of their favorite games.
In terms of performance, ROG Ally is also equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of PCIe Gen4 storage and a UHS-II microSD card slot to increase storage capacity.
In order to maintain the temperature of the ROG Ally, this gaming device is supported by the ROG Zero Gravity cooling system that uses a dual fan system, special heatsinks and heat pipes that are able to distribute the heat optimally.
WiFi 6E support has been built into the gaming device so that game players can get internet connection easily and smoothly.
