Gadgetren – Through the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G devices, Samsung is partnering with Kincir.com to provide a platform for the development of the esports industry in Indonesia by nurturing young talent through the Galaxy Gaming Academy.
Previously, Samsung itself presented a forum for young filmmakers to hone their short filmmaking skills with the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G at Galaxy Movie Studio 2022.
Now with the presence of Galaxy Gaming Academy, Samsung Electronics Indonesia provides a place for young people who love to play games and aim to become a professional gamer or professional esports player.
Registration for the Galaxy Gaming Academy is currently open and those of you who are interested can directly fill out the form individually or as a group through the website Galaxy Gaming Academy until June 11, 2023.
Registration for the Galaxy Gaming Academy is free, and participants must be between the ages of 17-34 and have an ID. Enrolling teams and individual participants must not or have not entered into a contract with any administration.
Team participants to register must contain 5 players, single participants to register will be grouped into a team by Galaxy Gaming Academy. From this program, Samsung will collect a total of 64 teams from team registrations and 64 teams from individual registrations.
A total of 128 teams will compete in the qualifying round which will be held online and in terms of schedule they will follow Samsung’s provisions. After the qualifying round is completed, Galaxy Gaming Academy will enter the final playoffs of senior and junior matches, which will also be held online.
This will be followed by the final round which will be conducted offline. From all existing participants, the team selected as the winner will receive exclusive prizes in the form of intensive training, a coaching clinic, a contract with Team Galaxy and a wild card in the Esports President Cup 2023.
The teams that qualify to the top 8 will have the opportunity to take part in a training clinic by Galaxy Coaches, namely RRQ Bangduk and KB. In this training clinic, Galaxy Gaming Academy participants will have the opportunity to improve mechanics and soft skills directly from professional players and selected analysts at the Samsung Galaxy Gaming Academy.
Each team that makes it to the Playoffs must play using the Galaxy A34 5G or the Galaxy A34 5G on loan from Samsung using an official statement signed by the team representative.
Andi Airin as Head of Marketing – MX Samsung Electronics Indonesia said that Galaxy Gaming Academy supports the possibility for anyone to become a professional gamer winner, so it has great talent to become the Galaxy team.
“During this program, we will jointly support new young talents to first realize their dreams due to their passion to become professional players. Apart from being a place for Gen Z in Indonesia, Galaxy Gaming Academy also provides Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G devices that you can rely on to play games,” he explained.
On the same occasion, Ryan “KB” Batistuta as Coach & Analyst said that the best team will be signed to become the Galaxy Team and will be developed to become a professional player. “There will be individual or team contracts depending on the deal and the Galaxy Gaming Academy is aiming for rebirth,” he said.
