Gadgetren – The tiny action camera Insta360 GO now has its newest next generation called Insta360 GO 3. Insta360 GO 3 was released in June 2023 to the global market and has quietly started to liven up the Indonesian market.

Sales of the Insta360 GO 3 action camera only in Indonesia are seen to be in high demand. This was spotted on Insta360 e-commerce site Tokopedia, which had run out of stock of the new action camera unit.
This Insta360 GO 3 action camera costs just IDR 6,099,000 for 32GB of internal storage. Then, the 64GB internal storage is priced at IDR 6,499,000 and the 128GB storage is priced at IDR 6,999,000.

In terms of design, the Insta360 GO 3 sports a different Action Pod than before. The Insta360 GO 2 comes with a TWS container-like Action Pod that doesn’t really have many functions other than a camera slot either for storage or as a mini tripod.
This time, the Insta360 GO 3 comes with a square Action Pod with a dedicated camera slot on the front that doubles as a charger. The camera still has the same design as before. What’s interesting is that the Action Pod is able to issue a small foldable screen that can light up when the camera is recording.
The additional screen on the Insta360 GO 3 can also be operated by touch to make it easier for users to adjust the camera settings. Even when the action camera is removed in place, the screen still displays the image from the recording camera.
This way users can vlog or take selfies with satisfactory results. The Insta360 GO 3 action camera weighs approximately 35.5 grams without the Action Pod. Meanwhile, the Action Pod weighs 96.3 grams.
As for battery life, if you’re shooting video with just the action camera, it’s claimed to be up to 45 minutes, while with the Action Pod it can go up to 170 minutes. Insta360 GO 3 video recording can produce image quality up to 2.7K, which was previously only 1440p.
