Gadgetren – Lazada has officially partnered with DANA digital wallet to introduce an on-the-spot payment system using the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code or QRIS method.
Lazada customers who shop online through the Lazada app by choosing cash on delivery or Cash on Delivery (COD) can now make cashless payments with QRIS from DANA.
To be able to enjoy it, Lazada customers must choose a shipping service using Lazada Logistics services. Apart from these delivery services, payment on the spot with QRIS by DANA cannot be used.
After receiving the product ordered through Lazada with payment on the spot, the customer then waits for the product to be delivered by the Lazada courier. After that, you can make payments using the QRIS method in the DANA app.
Customers only need to scan the barcode provided by the courier using the DANA app on their mobile and of course they must have a DANA account. Previously, the payment system at Lazada required customers to prepare cash for the goods they purchased.
The presence of this new payment will definitely make it easier for customers to shop products on Lazada and will continue to expand the convenience of transactions with QRIS from other digital wallet providers in the near future.
Ferry Kusnowo as the Executive Director of Lazada Indonesia said that currently digital payments using QRIS by DANA can be made in 80 cities in Indonesia.
“Customers can make QRIS digital payments from DANA in cities served by Lazada Logistics. The courier will provide this payment option upon delivery of the goods to the customer. Simply scan the QRIS with the DANA app and products can be picked up instantly. It’s easy and practical without having to carry cash,” he said.
On the same occasion, Vince Iswara as CEO and Co-Founder of DANA Indonesia said that this partnership was in line with DANA’s goal to increase digital financial inclusion by expanding access to digital payment services for the community.
“Through this partnership, he hopes that all people can enjoy payment services and financial services from DANA, especially when transacting on the Lazada platform,” he explained.
