Gadgetren – After its global market presence in 2022, Motorola Solutions has officially brought the newest digital two-way radio through the MOTOTRBO R7 series to Indonesia.
The MOTOTRBO R7 series has two variants namely MOTOTRBO R7 and MOTOTRBO R7a. Both can be purchased in Indonesia through the official distributor of Motorola Solutions, namely PT Harrisma Informatika Jaya with 5-year warranty support.
In terms of price, the MOTOTRBO R7 series is priced from IDR 12 million aimed at companies, organizations and event organizers of a large event. The difference between the two digital radios is only in keyboard support.
For R7 available with full keyboard and no keyboard version. While the R7a is only available with a non-keyboard version. The MOTOTRBO R7 series digital two-way radios offer a number of advantages over their predecessors, being able to produce louder and clearer sound.
This is because the MOTOTRBO R7 series supports noise reduction functions on its two microphones to aid two-way communication between users working in noisy environments while producing consistent sound at various volume levels.
Even the MOTOTRBO R7 series radios are claimed to be able to produce sound in any noisy situation with a sound of up to 102 voices, which is ten times louder than a scream. In addition, users can set additional volume profiles through the R7 to be able to present a total volume of up to 107 voices.
Of course, the MOTOTRBO R7 series is equipped with materials that have tough resistance and a robust shape to support users working in harsh environments such as building construction, highways, factories, mines and more.
The MOTOTRBO R7 series two-digit radio has also gone through a durability test process that meets MIL-STD 810 military standards to withstand various conditions such as fire, impact, dropping on hard objects, and is resistant to disinfectants and contamination.
In addition, it is IP68 certified which makes the R7 series waterproof to a depth of 2 meters for 2 hours and dust and IP66 certified to protect against high pressure water jets.
In terms of connectivity, the MOTOTRBO R7 series uses over-the-air programming and 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi so users can update their radios without having to stop using them. In addition, it supports Bluetooth 5.2.
For over-the-air programming, the MOTOTRBO R7 series can cover UHF and VHF frequencies with a capacity of up to 1000 channels. The battery is claimed to last up to 28 hours of use. Then, the MOTOTRBO R7 series also provides an emergency button on the top.
In terms of display, the MOTOTRBO R7 series uses a 2.4-inch screen size that has a QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution. To protect devices from external attacks, the MOTOTRBO R7 series also includes NIST Cybersecurity certificates and factory-installed device certificates to authenticate devices on the network and protect against IP attacks.
Not to forget, the MOTOTRBO R7 series includes support for wired and wireless audio accessories, a charging case for up to six batteries, a carrying case and an antenna.
