MediaTek boss shows off the benefits of his new chip in Jakarta, what are they?

The chipsets on display from MediaTek include the Dimensity 9200+ chipset for mobile phones, Kompanio for Chromebooks and Genio for IoT devices.

The event was attended by three MediaTek officials namely Finbarr Moynihan as Vice President, Corporate Marketing, Chinlin Low as Technical Account Manager, APAC and Cedric Chang as Deputy Director of Corporate Sales, Southeast Asia.

For those of you who don’t know, Dimensions 9200+ it is the successor of Dimensity 9200 which supports Vivo X90 series devices. The chipset has an octa-core that goes through a 4nm manufacturing process with a maximum speed of 3.35GHz.

The AI ​​support for this chipset, according to Finbarr Moynihan as Vice President, Corporate Marketing, not only improves the camera’s ability to take photos but also the video results.

With its 6th generation AI processing unit (APU 690), the Dimensity 9200+ features AI noise reduction and AI super resolution to correct images and create cinematic videos, as well as bokeh.

Next, the Dimensity 9200+ chipset is supported by the MediaTek Imagiq 890, which is an image signal processor that is claimed to produce brighter and sharper photos or videos. Even for shooting in low light.
