Gadgetren – After launching the OPPO A78 series of mobile phones in Indonesia, OPPO is rumored to be back with another new mobile phone called the OPPO A58.
Interestingly, before the sales schedule takes place in early August 2023, OPPO will also reveal the price and specifications that will be offered OPPO A58 in Indonesia. Priced at IDR 2,499,000, this entry-level mobile phone will be sold online through OPPO Store and e-commerce, which are OPPO’s official partners.
In addition, it will also be available in offline sales channels at all official retail stores and nearest OPPO partners. There are two color options for users to choose from, including Shining Black and Glowing Green.
In terms of design, the OPPO A58 offers a flat frame. For the Shining Black color, use the OPPO Glow design to bring out a sparkling crystal effect on the back of the body. Meanwhile, the bright green color is said to adopt a special Glowing Silk design to give it a silky smooth texture.
The OPPO A58 weighs around 192 grams with a thickness of 7.99 millimeters. The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh which is equipped with 33W fast charging. Fast charging is claimed to be able to charge the 5000mAh battery from 0 percent to 100 percent in 75 minutes. On a 5 minute charge it is said to be able to make phone calls for 3.39 hours.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the right side of the body to quickly enter the ColorOS 13.1 interface based on Android 13. The OPPO A58 display oozes charm with a size of 6.72″ that has a Full HD + resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels) and supports a brightness level of up to 680 nits.
The screen is also equipped with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and All Day AI Eye Comfort to make it easier for the eyes to look at the screen even for a long time. In terms of performance, the OPPO A58 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 Octa-Core (12nm) 2.2GHz chipset, which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
There is an additional storage capacity of up to 1 TB via the microSD slot for storing various file formats such as photos, videos and documents. In addition, the RAM is supported by a 6GB expandable feature to allow a total RAM of up to 12GB.
The audio system on the OPPO A58 device uses dual stereo speakers that can deliver immersive stereo surround sound effects for fuller and clearer sound quality for calls, games or videos.
The photography aspect of the OPPO A58 uses two rear cameras in the form of a 50MP main lens with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. Next, the front camera has a resolution of 8MP with an aperture of f/2.0 that can produce selfie photos with clear results.
Support for camera photography modes such as Stylized Night Time Photography, AI Portrait Retouching and Panorama Mode is also provided. In addition, this new mobile phone has an IP54 rating that is resistant to water splashes and dusty environments and has NFC functions for viewing and topping up e-money, cashless payments and data transfer.
