Gadgetren – Samsung Electronics Indonesia has officially brought its new monitoring device called Smart Monitor 2023 with model number M80C.
The trackers aimed at users for entertainment, play and work can be ordered through the pre-order program until July 23, 2023 online at Samsung.com/id.
With the regular price of IDR 10,999,000, each Smart Monitor 2023 order will now receive an instant cashback of IDR 3,500,000, so the price is about IDR 7,499,000 cheaper.
As an after-sales service, the Smart Monitor 2023 is equipped with a 3-year warranty covering parts and service. As for its advantages, this new display comes in white color and has a thin bezel on three sides.
In addition to being wall mountable with a 100×100 wall mount, this monitor can also be placed on the user’s desk with the stand provided in the purchase package. Standing on the table, this monitor can be adjusted in height, rotated by 90º and tilted.
The screen itself has a size of 32″, UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and supports a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a response time of 4 ms, HDR10+, 99% sRGB, a brightness level of 400 nits, adaptive picture, Pantone validation and an eye-saving mode and Flicker Free.
Interestingly, the Smart Monitor 2023 can serve two functions, namely as a PC monitor and also a Smart TV with various popular Over-The-Top (OTT) applications such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney Plus, Spotify and others.
Meanwhile, above the display, there is a SlimFit magnetic camera that has FHD resolution and can be detached according to the user’s needs without having to buy additional devices.
Through this camera, users can now connect to video conferencing apps like Google Meet, Zoom, and other apps that also support Auto Framing so that users can appear in a symmetrical frame.
This monitor weighs around 7.2kg with the stand and is 11.39mm thick. Power is said to require around 140W via a 1.5m cable. This device also has full connectivity such as 1x DC 20V, 1x HDMI (2.0), 2x USB-A and 1x USB-C (65W).
In addition to being available separately, the Smart Monitor 2023 is also equipped with a white remote control that can be charged via USB-C. It is then supported by two speakers with Adaptive Sound +.
As part of the Samsung ecosystem, this new display also provides SmartThings and Smart Hub features to connect with other Samsung devices. Users can also control apps while browsing their favorite content without the need for a remote with Bixby.
There’s also a new My Contents feature that lets users quickly access useful information. When the display is in standby mode and detects a registered mobile phone via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the display will light up with photos, weather and other information at a glance.
Instead, the screen will return to standby mode if the mobile phone is out of reach. Not just for entertainment, Smart Monitor 2023 also supports work productivity, making wireless access to remote computers and computer mirroring smooth and easy.
Additionally, Multi View is available, which allows users to use Microsoft 365 and the Browser app in full-screen mode to reduce switching between apps.
