Gadgetren – Xiaomi 12, which was first released in 2022 in Indonesia, is now reportedly dropping in price to IDR 6,999,000 from IDR 9,999,000.
The new price for Xiaomi 12 has been officially published through the official website mi.co.id as well as online e-commerce sales channel Shopee and Tokopedia.
This flagship is part of the Xiaomi 12 series family, which is divided into three models, namely Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and 12X. With a discount of around IDR 3 million, the Xiaomi 12 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Octa-Core (4nm) chipset may be a device that users should consider when they want a new powerful mobile phone at a low price.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 12 has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. This phone does not support microSD, so users need to be quite careful about downloading files and apps.
There are three color variants that users can choose from for the Xiaomi 12, including Blue, Purple and Grey. In terms of appearance, it has charm with a 6.28″ display that has a Full HD + (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10.
The Xiaomi 12 display is also Dolby Vision certified so it can display clear content. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, has a 360° ambient light sensor and DisplayMate A+. In terms of photography, this phone uses three rear cameras in the form of a 50MP main lens with a 1/1.56″ sensor and f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS).
It comes with a 13MP wide-angle lens with 123° field of view and f/2.45MP aperture and a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. Video recording with the rear camera is capable of producing 8K resolution at 24 fps.
Additionally, on the front, the Xiaomi 12 also features a 32MP f/2.45 aperture lens that can produce clear selfies and bokeh thanks to its Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based portrait mode.
The Xiaomi 12 battery has a capacity of 4,500mAh which is equipped with 67W fast charging via USB Type C and wireless 50W. To quickly enter the Android 12-based MIUI 13 screen, users can scan their fingerprints on the AMOLED screen or via facial recognition or Face Unlock.
This phone is also equipped with supporting features like X-axis linear vibration motor for better gaming feel, dual speakers, Dolby Atmos and audio from Harman Kardon.
