Gadgetren – At a technology fair Next@Acer On April 20, 2023, Acer also introduced laptops made from recycled materials through the latest generation of Vero product lines, namely the Aspire Vero 15 (AV15-53P).
The Aspire Vero 15 laptop will be available from June 2023 in the North American region with a starting price of USD 699.99 or the equivalent of Rp 10.2 million. Europe, Middle East, Africa and China will be available in May 2023.
Like previous Vero products, the Aspire Vero 15 is made from recycled materials to reduce waste aimed at increasing the lifespan of the device. Compared to the previous generation of Vero laptops, the Aspire Vero 15 is claimed to offer a 30 percent to 40 percent increase in the percentage of PCR plastic used in the frame.
In this way, this laptop is able to reduce CO2 emissions that are 30 percent less in the production of frame materials, while offering durability to the device. The frame has non-volatile organic compounds, while the keycaps and adapter case use 50 percent PCR material.
Next, the OceanGlass Trackpad features a smooth material that combines recycled plastic materials. Additionally, like the previous generation Vero, this laptop also has a beeswax textured surface or what is known as honeycomb.
This time the Aspire Vero 15 laptop is available in two color variants i.e. Green, Blue and Cream where previously only one color variant was available. Its performance is powered by the 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor combined with Intel Iris Xe graphics card and Windows 11 operating system.
In addition, it is Intel Evo certified which provides productivity-enhancing features such as a fast-charging battery, two Thunderbolt 4 Type C ports, instant wake-up, and up to WiFi 6E.
The Aspire Vero 15 also supports LPDDR5 RAM technology that has a capacity of up to 16GB and M.2 2x SSD storage with a capacity of up to 1TB.
The Aspire Vero 15 screen exudes charm with a size of 15.6″ that has a Full HD resolution and supports 100% sRGB. Above the display is a QHD resolution camera equipped with Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice with AI Noise Reduction to improve the quality of video conference calls so they sound clear.
Not to forget, the Aspire Vero 15 laptop is also supported by power saving features namely VeroSense which offers four modes including Performance, Balanced, Eco and Eco+. The four functions will help users reduce carbon emissions and save electricity usage.
Apart from this, Aspire Vero 15 provides other connectivity features like two USB3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, DC in and audio jack.
