Gadgetren – Seagate has officially launched its newest SSD storage, the NVMe FireCuda 540 PCIe Gen5 SSD, and it will be available for purchase in Indonesia in August 2023.
SSD NVMe FireCuda 540 PCIe Gen5 offers storage for gamers and content creators who want high performance on laptops and desktop devices.
This SSD is claimed to deliver high read speeds and durability with Seagate’s M.2 2280 SSD capable of up to 10,000 MB/s sequential read speeds and up to 10,000 MB/s sequential write speeds.
This enables professional gamers and content creators to experience high-level performance acceleration that is said to be up to 50 percent faster than Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSDs and 17 times faster than SATA-based SSDs.
In addition, the NVMe FireCuda 540 PCIe Gen5 SSD is equipped with a 3D TLC NAND function built with Seagate’s E26 validated controller to optimize heavy gaming and content creation such as video editing.
For maximum usage, the NVMe FireCuda 540 PCIe Gen5 SSD is compatible with all PCIe Gen5 motherboards as well as PCIe Gen4. Meanwhile, the capacity is available up to 2 TB.
To handle heavy usage, the NVMe FireCuda 540 PCIe Gen5 SSD provides a 1.8M MTBF mean time to failure and up to 2,000 TB total bytes written. In other words, users can write and erase up to 1 TB of SSD capacity every day for five years.
Each market also supports DirectStorage firmware for a better PC gaming experience. A three-year Rescue Data Recovery Service plan and a five-year limited warranty are included.
The above packages include SeaTools 5.0 which can make it easier for gamers, content creators and PC builders to manage and monitor hard drive performance and health. Lance Ohara as Vice President of Product Line Management at Seagate Technology said PCIe Gen5 technology was present at the request of gamers and content creators.
