The new generation of ASUS ExpertBook B9 laptops has been released with Intel Gen-12

Gadgetren – ASUS Indonesia has officially provided a refresh for its line of business laptops via ExpertBook B9 (B9400) with 12th generation Intel processors.

Previously, ExpertBook B9 with 11th Gen Intel was released in Indonesia in 2021. Now through ExpertBook B9, ASUS presents an updated version that is not only in the performance section, but also RAM and storage support.

In Indonesia, the new generation ExpertBook B9 is priced at IDR 40,799,000, which is powered by a 4.70GHz Intel Core i7-1255U processor that comes with Intel Iris Xe GPU.

The processor is also paired with LPPDDR5X RAM with an even larger capacity of 32GB and 2TB PCle NVMe M.2 SSD storage. The battery has a capacity of 66 Whr, which is claimed to have a usage resistance of up to 16 hours on a single charge.

The new generation ExpertBook B9 battery is also equipped with fast charging that allows users to charge from 0 percent to 60 percent in just 44 minutes, making it very suitable for entrepreneurs and remote workers who are highly mobile.

Physically, ExpertBook B9 has a light weight of about 980 grams with a thickness of 14.9 mm, so that the body looks compact and portable, which can be placed in a carrying bag and easily carried anywhere.

The screen size is 14″ which has Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and supports anti-glare coating, LED backlight, brightness up to 400 nits and 100% sRGB.


To quickly enter the Windows 11 Pro interface, the new ExpertBook B9 is equipped with a fingerprint scanner located under the right side of the keyboard. In addition to the fingerprint sensor, this business laptop provides a face recognition login method through Windows Hello.

Then, interestingly, it is supported by an NFC reader attached to the ASUS NumberPad, so users can enter the ExpertBook B9 by swiping an authorized card easily and quickly.

On top of the display, the new ExpertBook B9 laptop also provides a 720p HD camera which is equipped with a webcam privacy feature for instant privacy protection when the user does not want to be seen via video conferencing.

Users can also take advantage of the ASUS AdaptiveLock feature that can automatically lock the laptop when the user moves away from the laptop. In addition, the ExpertBook B9 webcam is able to make video calls with clear sound thanks to the support of the ASUS AI noise cancellation function and Dolby Atmos.


In terms of data security, the ExpertBook B9 laptop uses a TPM 2.0 chip to store authentication information used by software, such as passwords or encryption keys, and to protect important data and transactions.

When in busy locations or at the office, users can secure the ExpertBook B9 with a Kensington lock slot to prevent the laptop from being stolen. In terms of durability, this business laptop meets US military standard MIL-STD 810H.

Other supporting features like 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 2x Thunderbolt 4 for display and power, 1x HDMI 2.0b, 1x micro HDMI supporting RJ45 LAN, 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, audio from DTS and harman/kardon have been provided with Cortana and Alexa for voice commands.
