Gadgetren – First released in 2022, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is now available in a new color, namely Navy Blue, to complement the colors that previously enlivened the market, such as black, white, green and purple.
Along with this new color, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is now available at a lower price, starting at IDR 7,999,000 for 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Meanwhile, the 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM are released at IDR 7,999,000.
In terms of full specifications, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G in Navy Blue is the same as the other colors launched earlier. The screen size of this mid-range mobile phone has a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate.
This way users can surf various apps and content smoothly with clear images. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus which is said to prevent scratches on the screen.
Thanks to a brightness level of up to 1200 nits, users can enjoy any content on the screen with a bright and clear display, even if they use the Galaxy S21 FE in hot sunlight.
In addition, the screen of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G has also received a certificate of protection against exposure to blue light that can damage the eyes if used for a long time. The display also has a punch hole design as the front lens with a resolution of 32MP.
Moving on to the rear body, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G uses a triple rear camera setup in the form of a 12MP main lens, an 8MP telephoto lens and a 12MP wide-angle lens. Interestingly, this mobile phone has a dual recording feature available on the front and main lens.
Users can choose two Dual Recording modes i.e. Multi Recording and Vlogger Mode as per need. When selecting the Multi-Record mode, the user can record through the main lens as well as the front lens at the same time.
While in Vlogger mode, users can record with a picture-in-picture in the form of a small window in the corner where you can see yourself. Then, it also has a Split option to show the camera viewfinder on top and the front lens on the bottom, and a Single option to show only the rear camera viewfinder.
The rear camera of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is also supported by other photography functions, such as night mode and Zoom Lock to stabilize shots so that the results are sharper. The front camera is also equipped with the AI Photo Remaster editing function to beautify the photo results and the Object Eraser function to remove objects located in the background of the main subject.
Equally important, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Octa-Core (5nm) 2.84GHz chipset. To get into the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 interface, users can use the in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G has a battery capacity of 4,500mAh, which is equipped with 25W charging via USB Type C. The charging is claimed to be able to charge 50 percent from 0 percent in 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is not equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack port, so users have to opt for an alternative Bluetooth or USB Type C connection to listen to audio privately.
A MicroSD slot is also not provided on this device, so additional capacity expansion is not possible. However, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is IP68 certified which makes it water resistant to a depth of 5 feet for a maximum of 30 minutes.
